Frank Knopers (MSc) studied business administration at the University of Twente in Enschede and obtained a Master’s degree in Financial Management with a study on the effectiveness of value investing in the Netherlands. He was awarded the Hoofbosch thesis prize in 2014.
Since the outbreak of the financial crisis, Frank has not only studied the stock market, but also the functioning of the monetary system. And from there he started analyzing economic, monetary and geopolitical developments.
In 2017 Frank and Sander Boon founded Geotrendlines, a new platform that follows the transition in money and geopolitics and describes and analyses the most important trends.
For many years Frank has written articles and analyses for the gold business. He was editor for Marketupdate from the end of 2011 until July 2019. He has also responsible for the weekly newsletters for Goudstandaard and Holland Gold.
In 2016 he was interviewed by Het Financieele Dagblad and in 2017 for the program De Nieuws BV on Radio 1. He also regularly gives reviews about the gold market for De Telegraaf.
